It depends upon many factors, one of which is your FICO score. However, even with bad credit it;s very possible for you to get a loan. How much are you needing to pay the bill, and what do you think the value of your home is? Give me a call 16/7, or email me your phone number so I can call you, and I'll be happy to walk you through the process. To learn more about me and our mortgage brokerage, click on my picture. Bad credit makes a new home loan pretty difficult. Most lenders won't work with someone who's credit is below 620. Some hard money lenders may work with borrowers at that level, but at a steep price.

Bad Credit may make getting a loan difficult but not necessarily impossible. Qualification for a loan depends on a lot of factors besides the credit score. I have worked with borrowers who had "bad credit" but still were able to qualify for a loan based on other factors, let's talk, I may have a solution for you. Bad credit? Realistically, anything is possible, but when you have bad credit, you are telling any potential lender that you are not responsible, and are unlikely to successfully repay the loan. Because of this, lenders are scared to lend. It just isn't worth the risk. Of course not everyone has bad credit because they the are not responsible - life happens. But everyone with credit challenges needs to be aware of how it effects everything in life, and should work on fixing the issue as soon as possible so when things like this pop up, you are able to deal with them. Contact a local mortgage broker to see if you have any options... Good luck!

Bad credit will make it more difficult to find financing and if you do, you will likely have to pay a higher interest rate. We would have to look at more specifics to determine if you would qualify. We are a brokerage located in San Diego and licensed throughout the entire state of California - feel free to give us a call at 858-605-0952 to go over your situation in detail and to determine if you will qualify.
