There's not enough info to properly answer your question. In general, lenders wish to see 2 years steady employment in the same line or field of work. So if you were a office manager, and you switched to work for another company as a office manager, you can apply right away, and your job should not be an issue.. however, if you were a office manager on your last job, and your new job is a sales rep getting paid commissions, then the lender will make you wait till you have been there for 2 years before approving you.. the scenarios are endless, and without knowing your specific example, it's hard to answer accurately.. .. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

If you can show that you have a two year work history, any work, then you should be able to.

Yes, you can, assuming you meet all other qualification requirements. Lenders will need to see at least two pay stubs from you current job as well as income history for the past two years. Other factors will be examined as well including your credit score and debt-to-income ratio.

Hi Cindy, You can be qualified. Usually most lenders want 2 years of steady employment. I got many options however. I am located in Orange County and would be more than happy to go over this anytime with you to get you a Pre-Approval.

You should be able to, but of course it depends on a variety of factors: have you been in the same line of work for the past two years? Do you qualify in every other area? You will need to discuss your individual situation with a mortgage banker licensed in California. I am located in San Diego and can discuss your scenario with you to see what we can do for you. Give me a call at 858-412-0712 or send an email with more information on your specific scenario to adrielle@californiamortgagedirect.com.

YES, NO, or Maybe... Not enough information. Generally speaking, switching jobs isn't that big of deal if you are an hourly or salaried employee. If you've been out of work for 6 months or more, you need to be at the new job st least 6 months. If you are self-employed, commission, tipped, etc. You need to be at the job a minimum of two-years. We can not count any bonuses unless you've been there at least two-years, and then we will average that income over the last two years.

As the others have said, it is a bit difficult to answer based on information provided. I would suggest contacting a local, licensed mortgageprofessional, like one of my associates at Bay Equity there in Corona at 951-520-1840, so they can check all the specifics necessary to determineif you qualify, or if not, what needs to be done to qualify you.

If you have 2 years in the same line of work, and meet the credit, income and debt requirements, you should be fine.

Hello Cindy,Yes, most of the answers are correct. You can qualify using your salary only provided you have a 2 year history of employment.

As long as you didn't change fields of work and you have a 2 year history of work in your current field, you'll be fine. Unfortunately bonuses can't be used for qualifying unless you have a 2 year history of receiving them at your current company, so you'll have to qualify on just your salary.
