Shouldn't be more than 45 days.
Once the loan is fully approved by the lender, USDA's turn around time is currently 14 days...
From the time you have an accepted contract, you will close within 45 days.. but USDA usually takes 14 days to underwrite a file.. but before a file can be sent to them, you have to have the appraisal completed, and the file with all the disclosures, application and supporting documentation collected and ready to go.. As of yesterday, Tuesday May 6th, the Ohio office was reviewing files that were received by their office on April 23rd, so roughly 14 days. Keep in mind, that is from the point the file is sent from the lender to the USDA office, which is usually after most conditions are OK'd (appraisal, income, etc.).If I can be of any assistance, feel free to give me a call at 513-777-8383, T.C.
