For VA loans a Chapter 7 bankruptcy may be disregarded if discharged more than 2 years ago provided the Automated Underwriting System (AUS) results are positive with Approve/Accept.

2 years from the discharged date .. not when the bk was closed , when the judge signs the order fora discharge and a dismiss. and the trustee has up to 6 months to refile if they see the need to
