There is really no such thing as the best lender... But there are a few items I suggest. First, get off the internet, and go down to your local mortgage lender. There is nothing some online lender can offer that you can't get down the street except plenty of bait-n-switch. Next, avoid the banks. Bank loan officers are not required to be licensed, rather simply registered. Do you want to work with someone with a license or not? Next, understand the company you choose makes up about 10% of the success of the transaction, while the loan officer you choose makes up about 90% of your success. Pick a good loan officer and don;t worry about the rest. By the way, you can check out any loan officer by going to www.NMLSconsumerAccess.org

I'm right here LOL ! The only way is to speak with people who have used a particular lender for a VA loan. I recommenced finding a reputable mortgage pro and then asking to speak to someone they have done a VA loan for and how it was handled.

That's like asking someone how to find the best ice cream flavor. The answers are going to vary from person to person. I'd love the opportunity to earn your business. Please contact me anytime with any questions or to go over some option.

Please make sure that you speak with an experienced lender who will lay out various options and intelligently discuss the pros and cons of each with you. Your pre-approval should reflect in writing that all financial documents have been reviewed. This will make for less stress and potential issues during the process as well as make it more likely for a seller to accept your offer on the home you want. I'm happy to help with the financing or just give you advice. If you need more information, or a competing rate quote call, email or use my live support button to discuss or get in touch with me. Web Address for live chat or quote is: http://www.loansfromrob.com/quote/ Email is robertlh66@verizon.net and direct phone is 240-752-7549. Good Luck -- Rob Hanson

Get a referral from friends or family, that's often a great way to go. You will also want to do some shopping of your own and compare mortgage rates, points, fees, etc. among lenders. We are a California-licensed VA lender. Feel free to contact us for a quote at 858-605-0952!
