Getting a mortgage with bad credit!

I have a fico in the low 500s but my husband's is closer to 710. Can we not use my credit information but still have my income count overall? by saundraking0981633 from Creston, North Carolina. Apr 7th 2014 Reply

Most of the mortgage loans people acquire through lenders will require your mid FICO score to be counted if your income is to be included. Your husband can applyon the loan alone, but if you have to include your income to qualify, you may need to look at a special FHA insured loan with your lower credit and 10% down payment. You may wish to rebuild yours to higher 500s if you wish a low down payment of 3.5%. I would be happy to refer you to a colleague in your area to assist you, as I can only do loans in California.

Sorry, but in order to use your income, you MUST be on the loan application. With your credit score, you won't be able to get a loan.
