Can I get a conventional mortgage with a 637 credit score

i'm being told it should be at least 640 - since i am so close i'd really like to see if financing is possible or if anything can be done to bump it to 640 relatively quickly

You can get a conventional mortgage loan with 20% down payment and a 620 mid fico score, along with other qualifications that are necessary.

There are plenty of lenders and MI companies that will lend 95% with a 620 middle credit score.

Yes, conventional loans are available at 620 or above. You'll need to find the right lender.

Yes, it's possible depending on your other qualifications. 620 is the minimum score for a conventional/conforming loan. 640 is better of course but often FHA works out better for borrowers with scores in that range depening on a lot of variables.
