Yes.. Are you a Veteran, or the spouse of a deceased Veteran.. but as you can see, there are many guidelines/conditions that need to apply.. if you want to take the guess work out of it, then contact a local mortgage broker and apply with them.. .. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

Yes, a widow can qualify for a VA loan if they were married to the veteran prior to the time of death and have not re-married.

The quick answer is YES... Now for the fine print.. Surviving spouse of a vet who did in active duty, or after a service related disability, or a surviving spouse who has a current VA loan can still do a VA refinance. In MN and WI - visit www.VA-IRRRL-Loan-MN.com

Absolutely. The VA's policy: The unmarried surviving spouse of a veteran who died on active duty or as the result of a service-connected disability is eligible for the VA home loan benefit. In addition, a surviving spouse who obtained a VA home loan with the veteran prior to his or her death (regardless of the cause of death), may obtain a VA guaranteed interest rate reduction refinance loan.

Yes, there are conditions- your best bet is to speak with a lender that has experience doing VA loans. There are very good loan officers here on Lender 411.

As long as you have not remarried. You should be able to qualify for the VA loan benefits. However, there are extra lender overlays sometimes and other stipulations to go through...
