Mortgage rates, last week, took a major nose dive, creating new highs; rates hit their highest in the last 2 months and 4 months. This week shows no scaling back. Rates this week are headed towards long-tern highs. How long will it be before 30yr fixed rates of 5 percent are a thing of the past? At 5%, this would put most lenders at the highest 30yr fixed rates have been since 2011.
