National housing affordability isn't just a concern of renters. The National Association of Realtors reported single family home prices increased in 98% of metro areas, 3rd quarter of this year. The national median home price has increased from $254,700, 3rd quarter 2017 to $266,90 in Q3 of this year; an increase of 4.8%.
