Mortgage rates shot back up to the highest levels in more than 7 years. Thursday's weekly Freddie Mac's rate survey data was announced today. The data is a comparison of last Monday and Tuesday against the rates/activities of this Monday and Tuesday. Unless there is a major bond reversal Friday, we can expect for rates to increase into next week.
