Mortgage rates held firm through closing bell, Tuesday. This allowed rates to keep their "lowest levels in more than a moth" title. The events in the coming days and weeks ahead will most likely be the determining factors. The fact that mortgage rates have not improved, could be taken as a sign of resistance in the underlying bond market.
