Mortgage Rates 06-14-16

By Lisa Robison Updated on 6/14/2016

Mortgage rates are at a standstill today, after experiencing some lower rates this morning as European markets continue to dip even lower, now into negative territory.  The impact of the EU markets has always been a factor in US bond performance,, as it is an indication of the state of the world economic market.  It appears that the bond traders are holding off with any major moves in anticipation of tomorrow's FOMC announcement.  Brexit poll results are also a major factor in the markets recently.  Next Thursday the U.K. will officially decide on whether or not to stay or leave the EU.  Plenty of excitement on tap in the coming days, but for today, markets were quiet.  Stay tuned for the most up-to-date mortgage rates and financial news.
