A nice start to the new month, February 1st; mortgage rates have fallen to one-year lows. Although the Fed announcement, Thursday 1/31, did not directly affect mortgage rates, the result seemed to show the opposite. The adjustments announced by the Federal Reserve were unexpectedly quite large.
