Mortgage Rates 6-9-14

By Stevie Duffin Updated on 6/9/2014

What will mortgage interest rates do tomorrow? Rates should stay the same, according to mortgage professionals voting on Lender411's mortgage interest rate prediction daily poll.

Mortgage bonds are sideways and with little market moving reports out until Thursday's Import Prices and Retail Sales, they'll be playing off of stock activity. Treasury auctions start tomorrow and will carry through Thursday with 3-year note, 10-year note, and 30-year bond sales, respectively.

Last week: Mortgage bonds were nearly unchaged even after the May Jobs Report was released with happy news: 217K jobs added and 2k above the expected. No change in unemployment, however. Unemployment was anticipated to jump by 0.1%, so no new news is good news.
