Mortgage Rates 6-10-14

By Stevie Duffin Updated on 6/10/2014

Mortgage bonds are still sideways and with little geopolitical intrigue or market moving reports out until Thursday's Import Prices and Retail Sales, they'll be playing off of stock activity. Treasury auctions start today and will carry through Thursday with 3-year note, 10-year note, and 30-year bond sales, respectively.

Yesterday, Fannie Mae announced its May 2014 National Housing Survey: the housing market has hit its peak and 2014 will likely bear witness to a crawl compared to 2013 activity. Their survey indicated that weak household income and economy worries are weighing on the housing sector.
