Mortgage Rates 5-12-14

By Stevie Duffin Updated on 5/12/2014

Mortgage bonds drifted lower this morning as stocks pushed into strong territory. A week full of market moving economic data and still shaky Ukraine headlines may see big pushes in either direction.

Retail sales and Mortgage Market Index will be released Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. Also look out for Thursday, heavy with Consumer Prices, NAHB Housing, NY Fed, and Philly Fed data. Even Friday is relatively loaded, with numbers due out for both Housing Starts and Building Permits.
