Who can finance a Manufactured/Mobil home?

If the home has a permanent foundation and manufactured after 1976 we finance manufactured homes. So if you are paying property taxes there is a good chance of qualifying at among the lowest rates for any single family residence.If it is truly mobile and not with a permanent foundation then you need special financing not available thru the two primary investors in conforming and super conforming home loans, Fannie Mae and Freddie mac, and others. More info needed, but in general, manufactured home financing, although tough to find, it's not impossible. .this is in reference to MFH's which have been architecturally attached or "Real Property".. basically, it must be on a permanent foundation and an "Affidavit of affixture" must have been filed with the county recorders.. otherwise, it's title as a motor vehicle, not real estate.
