Generally 620 for a conventional loan, lower for FHA, but below 600 expect a difficult approval regardless of the lender.

There are lenders out there who can go as low as 500, however the credit score is not the final rule and it will depend on your total credit picture. Not many lenders can go this low, but as your score increases you will find more options. For example 565 will give you more options, 580 will give you even more and the down payment will go down to 3.5% on an FHA loan if you qualify. Best wishes, Sean
