More info needed, but in general, I'm not aware of any nation wide grant program... only local stuff... so It's best you contact a local loan officer or real estate agent.. they should be familiar with any local grant programs.. Also, if either of you have VA benefits available to you, then VA does 100% financing.. And if the property you are looking at is in a USDA defined area, and depending on your family size.. you might qualify for a USDA loan which is also 100% financing.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. If you could use another terrific knowledgeable mortgage educator on obtaining down payment and possible closing costs assistance as well, please do reach me via my profile! Funding the program and nearly all our loans ourselves helps us to meet very important timelines to the sellers which gives you more opportunities to win bids on the homes you like.
