Speak with an attorney as this is now a legal issue. If you are 62 or over and have equity in your home you could do a reverse mortgage.

Sorry to hear of your trouble... But just make your payments. The bottom line is this... A lender is trying to foreclose because you haven't made payments. It doesn't matter anything other than that, and attempting to figure out ways to delay the foreclosure are just that... delays. Eventually no matter what you try, if you don't pay, you don't get to stay.
