Using VA cashout funds for home improvements OK?
I have a 65% LTV Va mortgage on my home and would like to perform some updates to the interior and exterior (mostly window/paint treatments). Can I refi for Cashout and use funds for the work? Absolutely, you can do a 100% cash out refinance with VA if you qualify. VA offers some of the best interest rates with no mortgage insurance. Great loan.
