To qualify for VA, you must have had a full 6 years as a reservist to qualify, but there's other factors as well.. if you want to know for sure, you can apply for a VA Certificate of Eligibility online.. Here's the link. https://www.ebenefits.va.gov/ebenefits-portal/ebenefits.portal You will have to create a free account and after that you can apply.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. Thank you for your service! Yes, under Title 10 of the U.S. Code, there is a six-year requirement for National guards and reservists. You meet the requirements for the time you served. I would contact a local mortgage banker to see about qualifying for a mortgage. Best wises, Kimberly Lawson, Ohio only - Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator. Hi, are you looking to qualify for a VA home loan? If so, I don't believe you would be able to qualify. Do you have a certificate of eligibility? We can help you request this if need be. There are many other loan options available that may be able to help you qualify. I would love to take a look at your situation. Shoot me an email with your contact info and I'll give you a call to discuss: dortega@satorimortgage.com Or, give me a call, 954-900-9788. My name is Dave Ortega (NMLS 66292) and I'm with Satori Mortgage (NMLS 4190).

Like it was stated before as long as you served 6 years, you should be eligible for a VA loan. Call us at 800 315 8803, I have been lending on VA loans since 1989. In the meantime, thank you for your services and we look forward to hearing from you. Jamie Lynne, 800 315 8803.

If you served in the National Guard for six or more years you should be eligible for a VA loan (assuming you meet other requirements).
