There is not BEST TIME of the Year to Buy a home. Also, there is no WORST TIME of they year to Buy a home. The best advice I can make is that you talk with a lender to determine your qualification to buy a home now. I also suggest that you make contact with a Realtor that is familar with the area(s) you might want to purchase. Then with the information from the lender and Realtor, keep you eyes open to find the right house for the right price. I wish you success in your desire to become a home owner.

Opinions are like #@$^&*, every one has one. Joking aside, the best time to buy is when it makes sense for you. There is no proof anywhere that says one part of the year is better or worse than a different time. Are you secure in your ability to pay a mortgage? Will you live in it at least 5-years? Then go ahead and buy now, and don't over analyze things like what time of the year will be better, or should I wait because rates might do this or that. Go buy a house today.

NOW! Most of the homes currently available have been on the market since last fall and have reduced their prices to about as low as the sellers intend to go. The new spring listings usually start high and reduce through the year. Then you must consider rates for a mortgage and they are expected to rise through the year. So to get optimum pricing and probably the best rates you may qualify for, now is the time. We lend in your area and I would be happy to talk to you about pre-qualification and pre-approval to determine your eligibility for the various mortgages available. There is no "best" time to buy a home, rather when it makes the most sense for you. If you have the funds available and are ready to buy now, I would suggest doing so. In 2014 mortgage rates and home prices are expected to continue to rise.

The best time to buy is, and always be during the holidays.. From Thanks Giving past the new year, homes sales have historically been at their lowest. Less competition, and high inventory, gives a potential buyer a huge advantage.. so that WOULD have been the best time to by, but right now, your going into the WORST time to buy.. historically, Feb, Mar, Apr, May have the highest numbers for home sales, so more competition and less inventory, means the advantage is to the seller.. So there's still time right now to get a good deal, but If you wait any longer, you're going to be in the hunt with much more competition.. get out there and go get you one right now!!! I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
