I'm assuming DMP is Debt Management Plan? With paying that off and credit scores in the mid 600's, those two items alone will not cause you any approval issues. Feel free to apply with a local licensed lender today for a professional review. I am in St Paul, so I'd be more than happy to review your information. Visit www.MortgagesUnlimited.biz

As long as you're not talking about Digital Monitoring Products... we're all on the same page. :) There's more to just that and the credit score as to other things that MAY be on your credit. I'll review your credit report with you (in the Baldwin/Roberts/Hudson area if you need) and confirm you're GOOD TO GO. I've been lending in the ST CROIX VALLEY area (Stillwater to the St Croix and Pierce Counties) for over 10 yrs now and would love to be of assistance. The great news is that if you're looking to purchase... there's still options for ZERO to 3% down purchase money available. www.StevenBrandHomeLoans.com or Steve@iLoanHomeMortgage.com

If DMP is Debt Management Plan, assuming you have been paying on it as agreed for the past year, with a mid-600's score, you should be good to go now. I am based right here in Wisconsin and I would love to answer any more questions that you may have. You can get all of my contact information and, if you want, even start a free application, at http://www.CloseWithMichael.com/contact. Thanks! -Michael Creed

You should not have to wait at all to apply if you are not in the DMP any longer. We can work with 600 credit scores. Call me at 920-410-2646 or send me an email at pschubert@phewholesale.com so we can discuss. Always free consultations! I am in Wisconsin. Pam Schubert, Peoples Home Equity Inc.

Generally speaking, as long as you have maintained the payment plan As Agreed, as long as you have a mid credit score of 620+, you should be FHA eligible. My advice is to locate a local Mortgage Banker/Broker, rather than one of the big banks. Employees of the big banks tend to be order takers. A Mortgage Banker/Broker is Trained, Tested and Licensed in all aspects of Mortgage Lending. A Mortgage Banker/Broker will also be willing to work with you to clean up any loose ends from your time in the DMP program. A banker, not so much. Make sure you check out your selected Mortgage Originator with the National Mortgage Licensing System at www.NMLSConsumerAccess.org.
