That is a lead capture site.. When you hit "Apply".. Your information is gathered and sold to companies looking for mortgage leads.. If you're interested in obtaining a mortgage for whatever reason, you should contact a LOCAL mortgage broker, not the local "Big" bank, and certainly not one of those 50 states internet lenders...By applying with your LOCAL Broker, you have an advantage because he's familiar with local customs and works with numerous lenders, seeking out the best loan terms for your particular scenario. Because he has lower overhead, he can offer you lower rates and lower fees than most of the larger lenders.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

myfha.net is real. its owned by John Scott Smith in Boston, MA. They are a lead generating organization that takes these leads and resells them to interested parties. he actually owns a few websites one of them being "myfhabackend.com". which re directs to myfha.net. there isnt much activity on the site over the last 2 months so it could be a dud. guy probably did it for a little while and stopped cause he couldnt keep track of it. I make a bunch of those lead capturing sites so i know how it is. waht can you do? good catch see ya

My name is John Scott Smith and I'm the president of MyFHA. (I have a Google Alert set up for our business name so that whenever we're mentioned, I have the opportunity to join the conversation.) As of this writing, June 22, 2012, we've been working in the mortgage lead generation space for six years. Our business model is that we provide information, calculators, qualifying guidelines, etc. and when one of our visitors would like to speak with a lender, they provide their contact information which we then sell to lenders.

It is a real site. If you enter your info they will give it to a mortgage professional. They probably sell your info as leads to mortgage professionals.
