More info needed, but in general, because the rates have been so low, there's been a boom in refi business.. however, because lenders also do loans for people buying homes, and purchase contracts have a "Close of Escrow" Date.. then purchase loans take prescient.. That being said, it's a little slow right now for refi's.. expect 30 to 45 days to close.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. I'm a broker here in TN. The time frame is 30-45 days. The issue is getting an appraisal done in a timely manner. Because of the surge in business, appraisers are at least 3-4 wks out. No problem getting the file underwritten in a couple of days, just appraisals are the hold up!
