lender provided payoff on .2 nd morg to settlemenr co. it was paid. then 6 yrs latwe they said oops we mase mistake n you owe $900

You will likely need to contact an attorney. Before you do gather all your information from the transaction and ask the title company if this is something covered in your title policy.

Try contacting the title company that closed it. They should be able to help you. Attorneys could be costly.
