Unless your husband is on the loan, you cannot use his income.. and overtime income can be considered if you have been receiving it for at least 2 years.. However, no one here can properly advise you without knowing all the details of your loan scenario.. if you would like a 2nd opinion, feel free to reach out to me.. I would be happy to advise you.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. If you are only looking at VA as an option, you may want to re-think that. VA tends to be the toughest on job continuity. FHA may be more forgiving for time off work depending on the circumstances, the type of work and the way he's paid. Talk to a lender that offers ALL loan products and see what ALL of your options are.
