is there any different process for getting a mortgage with someone your not married to?

Not a problem.. the only difference is that when you're married, you can both be on the same application.. when you're not married, then the lender needs 2 complete loan files, one from both.. so the paperwork is doubled.. That's pretty much the only major difference.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona.
