If you have enough equity in the property, you can refinance and take cash out to pay off your car loan. then you will have that debt in your mortgage.

You can do a "Cash out Refinance" assuming you have enough equity. If after pulling out enough to pay off your car, your loan to value is still below 80%, then yes.. But keep this in mind.. you might pay $3000 to $5000 in closing costs to refinance, so it might not be worth it... I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

You also have the option, instead of refinancing your first trust mortgage, to add a 2nd trust by taking out a Home Equity Loan or Line of Credit. It's still a 2nd payment you need to make but by borrowing from equity in your house to payoff your car note the interest you pay on your 2nd trust will probably be Tax Deductible. If you go directly to your bank for the equity loan you probably won't have any, or very little closing costs. Hope this helps.

Have you considered a reverse mortgage? This type of loan allows you to convert some of the equity in your home into tax free cash. This is an excellent way to improve your lifestyle and help you maintain your independence. Both a reverse mortgage and a home equity loan use the equity you have in your home to generate cash. However, with a home equity loan you need to make monthly payments on the principal and interest. With a reverse mortgage.you don't need to make monthly mortgage payments for as long as you stay in your home To qualify for this loan is easy. You must be age 62 or older. You must plan to live in your home as your primary residence. There are currently no income or credit score requirements. If you should have an intrest, call me or email and I will answer any questions you may have without any pressure or obligation. I am a local agent.
