Yes.. conforming programs allow for 3% down for first time home buyers, otherwise its 5% for conventional, or 3.5% down for FHA regardless of whether you've owned a home in the past.. Understand that down payment guidelines do not change based on how long your financing.. so long as you make enough to service the monthly debt and still be within the industry standard Debt to Income (DTI) guidelines, you should be ok.. ..
