More info would be needed.. if your home is worth $2M, and yet you have a $1.9M First, then your not going to get any lender to give you a $300K HELOC. so we would need to know if there's a first and if so, how much.. But in general, lenders offering HELOC's typically want you to be at a "Combined Loan to Value" (CLTV) of no greater than 80%. You might find a lender willing to go to maybe 90%, but most are going to be at the 80% mark.. Also, your local bank or credit union is your best source for HELOC's.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. It will depend on your current loan balance if you have one, your credit score and your ability to repay the debt. You should speak with a local loan officer. Typically credit unions and local banks offer the best options for HELOC's.
