I used my VA loan in Ohio and recently sold the home. Am I eligible for another VA loan now that my previous loan was paid off?

Most likely yes! Your eligibility for VA loan financing comes down to something called your "entitlement." Even if you have used your VA entitlement to get a VA loan, you might be eligible to have this "restored" again for another use. As long as the previous property that had VA financing secured against it was 1. SOLD and 2. The loan was PAID IN FULL - Then you can request that you have this restored to use again. There is a simple form that needs to be completed and sent to the VA office to request this. The loan professional you work with can assist you with this as well, to make this easier on you. As always, it is important that when exploring ANY loan options to work with a loan professional that can take the time to guide you through the options and answer your questions. Yes, I concur you may likely get any entitlement you have used restored and have full entitlement. You might only have partial entitlement if you allowed the buying party to assume your VA loan on the purchase...unless, the party assuming the loan was another eligible Veteran.

You can use your VA loan multiple times. Of course, there is much more to a loan approval than just your VA eligibility. For VA loans in WI, MN, and SD, visit me at www.VALoanMN.com

Yes.. Since you are using your benefit a 2nd time, the upfront funding fee is higher.. unless you have a military related disability and receiving VA disability income, then the funding fee is waived... I'm a preferred Lender with Arizona and California being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893
