Generally speaking, bad credit mortgage loans don't exist... But how bad is it? Contact a local mortgage broker to review your personal situation to see if it is weak, but OK, or if it is really bad where you will be denied. www.MortgagesUnlimited.biz
What credit range are you looking for? If your credit is too low, you will likely not qualify for a mortgage and should work to build/repair it.
Everyone's definition of "Bad Credit" is different.. For that reason, lenders use credit scores to determine minimum levels.. and each lender can have a different credit score requirement.. Some are 640 or above, others are 620 or 600 or above, and a handful go down to 580. Understand that the lower the acceptable score, the more strict the guidelines will be and few that apply actually get approved. That being said, it take so much more to qualify for a loan beside the credit score that without looking at your complete loan profile, no will know for sure.. If your credit scores are below 580, then its highly unlikely you will find any lender willing to lend to you.. typically scores this low reflect an individual who has a proven track record of never paying anyone on time, so it's safe for the lender to assume nothing will change once a mortgage is issued, so they just don't do them..
