There are very few options left for you. Do you currently have a FHA loan or VA loans? If not, are you currently serving or have previous served in the armed services?
I'm assuming it's not a VA or USDA either, if it was there are refinancing options for you... You can go back to your current servicer and see if they might consider refinancing you, however it's very unlikely... you could also buy down your mortgage balance below the 95% required to refinance, but that's not a sound financial option either.. The White House has a website dedicated to answering questions regarding the latest refinance plan proposed by President Obama.. www.whitehouse.gov/refi So it's appears that help is on its way.. Stay tuned.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. Nothing right now, except to try to negotiate with your current lender. There is some discussion about an additional phase of the HARP program, that may help you, but time will tell if anything materializes. Wish I had better news for you. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z team of NOVA Home Loans ~ NMLS 40586 ~ www.LoansA2z.com ~ 888-889-9950
