Type OR hand write it. Make it "to whom it may concern" and then when your all done, sign and date it...then send it to your lender. DONE!!!

Besides what was already mentioned keep the letter as simple as possible. Also explain to the future employer what has been put in place to make sure the debt doesn't happen again on a repeat basis.

More info needed.. I've never heard of anyone having to explain to a potential employer your debt.. but if you have bad credit, I can maybe see this being necessary.. regardless, if you write a letter, keep it short and to the point.. if you do need to explain your bad credit, then I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893take responsibility rather than passing blame, and explain what steps you have taken to not let it happen again..
