Is it possible? Even if I have to pay off all my cards, I just need to know if that will help by penelope13ora9438... from Chicago, Illinois. Mar 18th 2014
Do not just pay off your debt. Without knowing how it will effect your score, it is the biggest mistake a homebuyer can make as many different factors influence the credit score. If you would like to contact me we can run your credit and put it through our credit analyzer to see what actions will have the greatest impact on your score.Edward Fallon | Senior Loan Officer O: 610.660.4712 | C: 610.308.9001 F: 610.680.3657 | NMLS# 144708 Allied Mortgage Group7 Bala Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004NMLS 1067
You need to have your credit evaluated to determined how much it will go up. I have seen credit go up in 45-60 days. If you would like me to look at your credit, please click on the logo next to my name and I would be happy to help.Best regards,Patty HarrisonSmart Mortgage
It depends on what is causing you score to be a 630. It seems as though you feel it is a matter of credit card debt. If payment history is not an issue, and it is just a matter of balances, amount of cards, or percentage of available credit usage, then YES, you should be able to raise that score, and it won't take but a month or 2. I have personal experience with this matter, in addition to professional experience over the last decade. If you need a local loan officer in the City of Chicago - please just let me know and I will refer you to one of my loan officers who does my own home loans. Best of Luck!!!

Depending on what is causing the scores and what your resources and resolve is it has and can be done in a couple of weeks.... the bigger question is why do you need it raised to a 730, typically a seasoned mortgage professional can help you with your needs
It may be possible. I would contact a local loan officer and have them review your credit report with you. Most loan officers have access with their credit reporting company to a software called The What If Scenario. They can go in and see how much of a score increase you will get if you pay down your balance. Time is also a huge factor, the longer you have a good payment history the better your score will be. Again, I would reach out a to a local loan officer and have them review your credit. Best wishes, Sean
It is possible. It is best to review your credit with a loan officer so they can tell you what you need to do to increase your scores. You can have your credit analyzed to get a projection of how much your scores will go up by doing certain things. Good luck!
