I just moved to California from New York and have been renting for the past six months and hate it! I want to take advantage of the rates while they're low, but don't know how to find a realtor I can trust. Since I haven't been here for very long, I don't know many people in the area. What's a good resource I can turn to to find the most knowledgeable, trustworthy Agent to help me find my home? by ChrisT99 from New York, New York. Aug 12th 2013
The best source for finding a realtor is by taking a referral from your mortgage broker.. before you even start looking at homes, you should get pre approved with a local mortgage broker to the area your interested in purchasing.. your mortgage broker works with numerous lenders and he knows the good from the bad.. he can refer you to one that he feels will best suit your needs.. and understand that it's illegal to pay for referrals in the mortgage industry, so his referral will not be biased, but based on working experience with those agents.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com
The best way to find a good Realtor is by either shopping around or get a referral. You can search for different real estate agents online and look at their reviews to narrow it down. Then meet with several agents and pick the one you get the best feeling from. Another option is to get a referral from colleges or friends. If you have already been pre-approved by a mortgage broker, you can also get recommendations from them. We are a mortgage brokerage located in San Diego, licensed throughout all of California. Feel free to give us a call at 858-605-0952 to get a free, no obligation mortgage quote to determine how much you can qualify for.
let your loan officer help you with a referral. the loan officer will refer someone who he has worked with in the past and trusts.
