Home equity loan after bankruptcy

We were wondering how long after a bankruptcy can you get a home equity loan. It will be two years in April and we have since paid off one auto loan and have had another for almost a year with no missed payments. We own the home free and clear and our only payment is for our car. If this is something that you think you could help us with please give us a call by jnadine883 from Palm City, Florida. The only way for this to work is, if you are a VA LOAN, you can refi, and pull cash out. or if you have a business, I can refer you to someone that can do a business line of credit after the 2 yrs of bk.. email at yourloanpartnerforlife@live.com

A Home equity loan guidelines will be lender specific, but I would guess a minimum of 4 years after BK but you should check with your local bank that offers Home equity lines of credit. If you've been discharged for two years and re established credit with no lates since discharge, then as long as your scores are 550 or better you may qualify for a VA or FHA loan now. We do many loans in Florida, call us or email us at 800-991-5309 or Team@BestMortgageOption.com for ano cost no obligation analysis of your situation ask for Michelle or Benny.

It's possible you can get a first position Home Equity Line of Credit since there are no conforming set of guidelines for this type of loan.. each lender offering HELOC's will have their own rules, so you'll have to shop around. You could however do an FHA cash out refinance up to 85% of your home's value. If you have VA benefits available to you, then you can do 100% cash out.. The only way to know for sure would be to contact a local mortgage broker and apply with them... once they see your complete profile, only then will you know what you can qualify for.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
