Yes there are specific requirements for Manufactured houses to qualify for FHA financing. Most agents in your local market that are doing manufactured housing should know these and not accept an offer on one that wont pass.
Short answer, own the land, 1976 or newer, double wide and not in a flood plain.
Some do meet requirements.
FHA has their guidelines, and each lender has additional guidelines above what FHA calls for.. so for MFH's, it's a lot more difficult to find financing..
