I work with over 10 lenders and the lowest score for a Missouri property is 640, sorry. Try paying off or down any credit card debt asap to get those balances under 50% of your available credit limit. That should help.

There are lenders out there that will go below the standard 640.. I have several here in AZ that go to 620, and 2 that go down to 580.. (Sorry, I don't lend in MO)... so I'm sure there is a lender in MO that will.. Click on the link above "Find a Lender" and type in your zip code and search for a local mortgage broker.. Stay away from the big banks and internet lenders.. Good luck.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

Yes, there are lenders that will work with lower scores, but before you resign youself to the higher costs associated with that, work with a local Mortgage Banker/Broker to see what can be done, easily and quickly to get your scores up. You may be surprised at how easy it can be. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z team of NOVA Home Loans ~ NMLS 40586 ~ www.LoansA2z.com 888-889-9950

I have no credit. I don't have credit debt. I just have a car. Actually It's 620 for the lowest score so far in Missouri.

I have written home loans in the KC metro for 15 years. I have one lenders that allows 600 scores. File has to be very clean to allow for the credit score but the product is there. If you would like to review in more detail i can be reached at jimcasson@jcmtg.com. or you could enter data online at my website. Www.jcmtg.com. thanks.

We have a bank that will do 620 but the file has to be perfect. I would suggest have a lender pull your credit and review it with you. We can help you improve your score by doing a CBC credit expert report. This report will help us tell you what accounts need your attention to get the highest score possible. Getting your score up will give you better pricing and more options. If you would like to discuss this you can email me dsauerwein@usa-mortgage.com or call me 314-703-7200

I have lenders that will go down to 540 on a FHA loan but I do not lend in MO. Keep checking with mortgage brokers in your area. Good luck!
