Does anyone know of any Michigan based lenders will to refinance BOA loan with LPMI under Harp 2.0. My LPMI vendor is Triad.

Triad is in run off, but I did call them and they are willing to re-attach it to the new loan. I am also willing to convert it to borrower paid if that helps too. by cfd162_801_408 from Waterford, Michigan. Dec 20th 2012 Reply

There are lenders out there that will do HARP loans with LPMI... However, because Triad is no long insuring loans, it can be quite challenging.. Some brokers here will say " Oh ya.. We can do that loan".. But I'm telling you it's not going to be easy.. very, very few will allow you to convert LPMI to PMI, since it's really a new policy on a property that does not meet conventional refi guidelines (less than 20% equity)... and that's a hard sell... click the tab " Find a Lender" above, and type in your zip code, and start dialing.. Be sure to explain your scenario and ask if they have come across Triad in a HARP refi before... The best advice I can give you is to contact a LOCAL mortgage broker and apply with them. Not the local "Big" bank, and certainly not one of those 50 states internet lenders...By applying with your LOCAL Broker, you have an advantage because he's familiar with local customs and works with numerous lenders, seeking out the best loan terms for your particular scenario. Because he has lower overhead, he can offer you lower rates and lower fees than most of the larger lenders.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

I can do that for you as long as the loan is a Fannie Mae. BOA could just be the servicer and I can look all that up for you also. Jack C 734-395-9027

As long as the loan is HARP eligible there should be plenty of lenders who can do this, it just comes down to whether the loan is correctly categorized with Fannie. I would know as soon as I set up your loan, check credit and run it through the approval process.
