Chapter 13 filed in 09 and discharged in 8/2014. I have high income (165K), CLTV is 80, 696 mid score. ANy lenders for this?

I see a response, "sorry, seeking a HELOC," and in spite of the profile image of a house on a square narrow piece painted wood perhaps...assuming it to be from the questionnaire. My suggestion is to try a large credit union or portfolio bank for obtaining a heloc though I know of no one doing them so soon after a chapter 13 discharge. It is possible to do a cash-out refinance loan to 85% FHA though not sure that would be worth the 1.75% added to the loan for mortgage insurance along with the monthly requirement of mortgage insurance. You could look at doing a cashout refinance VA loan which is even better, if eligible.

Check with someone that will privately hold your loan and can manually (make sense) under write the file.

Since there are no "Conforming" guidelines for HELOC's, (meaning, every lender who offers HELOC's can and will have their own lending rules.), then it's going to be difficult to find.. since most HELOC's are a 2nd position loan, then it's highly unlikely you will find any lender willing to do it with someone just out of a BK 13 for less than a year.. If you have used the same small community bank or credit union for any length of time, then it's possible they might allow you to do a HELOC, but other than that, your probably going to need to wait 4 to 5 years before applying..
