Hi Terri471,If your father has passed away and your mother has not remarried she can use your dad's VA entitlement. | Please feel free to contact me for more information or help. | John Burke | Senior Mortgage Banker | Great Plains National Bank http://www.valoansdoneright.com | (877)228-9069 | Lending in ALL 50 states
Hello Terri,John is correct, but there is one very important detail. Your mom is only able to use your fathers VA benefits if he died as the result of a service connected disability (the VA must have issued a determination that he died as the result of an injury or disability he sustained while serving). Generally speaking, your mom will also be receiving service connected disability compensation monthly from the VA if your father died as a result of that disability. If you have any questions on that, please don't hesitate to contact me. We are based in Oklahoma and VA is a great majority of what I do. Nick Utesch; Progressive Financial; 405.308.4208. NMLS 214427 / 216693; Nick@VALoansOK.com
Yes, she can in certain cases. Contact a lender directly to discuss your mother's situation and determine if she is eligible for VA financing.
If your Dad passed away from a military related disability and your mom has not remarried, then yes.. she can use his benefits.. if not, then the benefits have expired. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
