No...whoever aplies for the mortgage will have to meet all of the qualification standards, and the underwriters will exhaustively research every little detail. You can't mix and match.

No.. There is no conforming product which will allow you to use income for a non borrower spouse.. Not gonna happen.. if you're on the loan, you income and credit will be used.. if you're not on the loan, some states (community property) will require the credit and debt of the non borrowing spouse to be included in the borrowing spouses ratios..
