if your middle credit score is below 620 you are not likely going to be able to do a refi. Seek out a local mortgage broker to pull your credit and who will give you sound advice on rebuilding your credit with the goal of getting you into a new loan.

The short answer is probably not. It really depends on how bad it is, what kind of loan it is and whether you were more than 30 days late paying the mortgage within the past year. If your credit is not good, your best option will likely be through the current mortgage servicer - the place you send your payment. Good luck.

If your loan is an FHA you may be able to do it under the streamline program. No lates in the mortgage in the last 12 months.

You really need to speak to a mortgage broker that covers GA not a bank.
