Unfortunately no. Even though it's possible to do a streamline without income verification, (called 'non-qualifying'), the source of the income must be verified. This could be through employment, retirement, etc. Unemployment, being a temporary source of income, isn't considered by FHA.

No...but once you have been back at work for 30 days you should be fine.Kyle Stancato
Nope...but if you had a 30 day paystub on your new job you should be fine. Take care,Kyle Stancato
The answer isn't so cut and dry. You do have to be employed, unless you're receiving some type of other income. For example; social security, disability, pension/retirement or some other type of variation. If you have other income like the aforementioned you can use it to qualify. If not, you would need at least 30 days worth of employment documentation to qualify. Please feel free to call or email if you need further guidance. Ray at 254-449-7196 or rlewis@englending.com
Like the others have stated, you'll need 30 days paystubs from Any job or have a Disability/SSN/ Retirement income and then can. If the only reason for you to go get a job is to refi then you need to call a lender411 loan officer and discuss your situation with them to see if you qualify for a streamline first. Not everyone can streamline their loan.
Janelle -- What the others have written is correct - as far as it goes.Since you are currently unemployed, FHA has a program where you may receive a forbearance from having to make your mortgage payments for several months, up to one year.To take advantage of this program contact the company to which you are making your mortgage payments, explain that you are unemployed, and would like to discuss the FHA forbearance process as reference in HUD No. 11-139.Then, when you are re-employed, you should be able to start the process, after receiving your first paycheck, and complete it soon after you have been with the company over a month. If I can clarify any of this for you please feel free to contact me.
No, not until you are employed again.
not unless you can prove employment.
You need to have verifyable income
Consider starting a home-based business.
Sorry to say you can not - employment is part of the approval process
NO... while there is limited documentation, the lender is required to prove you have employment, and or an acceptable source of income to make the payments. www.FHA-Streamline-Refinance-MN.com
