Not gonna happen.. Most VA lenders want to see a 660 mid score or higher for VA Construction loans.. your far better off spending some time trying to get your credit fixed and then apply... I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

Consider an existing new house, that a builder still has on the market. That could turn out to be a bargain.

No, unfortunately you need a score of at least 660 in order to qualify for a VA loan.

So I need to increase my score? Could I still qualify for a VA mortgage with the same credit score?

If you want to build a house via a VA loan most lenders are going to require a 660 but if you shop around you might be able to find one that will go down to a 640 but it will take some research.

Unfortunately not at this low of a score. I would have you go to credit repair to remove the blemished on your credit report. Thus bringing up your credit score to a 660 for the VA construction.IF you are active duty and were not able to pay your bill due to being deployed we can proceed with a VA purchase or Refinance now. The lenders understand if you are being shot at down range you are not going to say "Time out; I have to make a car payment." Therefore allowing blemishes to be overlooked during underwriting.Call with any other questions.Sincerely,Christopher Nelson BeardPacific One Lending and Real EstateSecured Marketing Concepts Corporation888-733-4224 X 103 (Toll Free)310-351-9441 (Cell)714-617-1988 (Direct)800-377-1538 (Fax) cbeard@pacific1lending.comwww.pacific1lending.com
