Can I get a condo financed through USDA?

Will the condo just count as a "multi-family" property? Condos I'm looking at are in USDA eligible areas and the units are part of larger complexes. Confused here about the terminology "single" versus "multi"family, as I live and plan to purchase on my own. by spumonigal880001502 from Etna Green, Indiana. May 12th 2014 Reply

No USDA will not work on a condo.

Yes, however you will need to make sure that it is an approved Condo project with USDA. I'm happy to help in any way. I am an approved Lender in the state of Indiana and have extensive knowledge and experience in USDA loans. Please contact me at: jarrod.mcomie@snmc.com, or call me at 801-750-3998.

USDA allows for a condo... no problem. Multi-family, which is not allowed, is a duplex, or something like that... A condo or townhouse is not a problem. For USDA loans in MN, WI, or SD, visit www.MortgagesUnlimited.biz/usda
